Gerald A. Soffen
Biographic Sketch:
Gerald Soffen (7 February 1926–22 November 2000) was the Project Scientist of the NASA’s Viking Program. A scientist and educator, he served in a variety of roles for the space agency, primarily dealing with education, the life sciences, and especially, the search for life on Mars.
