Edgar J. Manton

Biographic Sketch:

Dr. Edgar J. Manton is a professor emeritus of Texas A&M University–Commerce and a regents professor of the Texas A&M University System. He is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and has master’s and doctorate degrees in management from Florida State University. He spent four years in the US Air Force as a missile control officer for the Atlas-D ICBM at F. E. Warren AFB, followed by 10 years with NASA at the Kennedy Space Center, where he worked in the Launch Support Operations Directorate during the Apollo Program.
