Abstract
Saunders Kramer was an early space pioneer. As an engineer for Lockheed, he received an early 1960s patent for space station designs and later in his career, he became known as an expert on the Soviet space program, tracking the public (and less than public) knowledge of the program. What follows is the beginning of his unpublished memoirs written in the late 1970s that the SPACE 3.0 Foundation received from the family.
